Vanikar LLC (“Vanikar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Card Games mobile application (the “App”) and the website at vanikar.games (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use our App and Site (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account data: display name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Profile data: avatar, club membership, and in-game preferences you set voluntarily.
  • Communications: messages you send to our support team.
  • Payment data: if you purchase virtual currency or premium features, payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not store full card numbers.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device identifiers: device type, operating system version, and a randomly generated device ID.
  • Usage data: game sessions, features accessed, match results, and session duration.
  • Log data: IP address, crash reports, and diagnostic information.
  • Analytics: aggregated, de-identified statistics about how players use the App, collected via first-party tooling.

Information from Third Parties

  • If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
  • Club or tournament organisers may share limited data to administer competitions.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and provide the Services.
  • Match you with online opponents and power real-time multiplayer features.
  • Operate clubs, leaderboards, and tournaments.
  • Process in-app purchases and fulfil virtual-currency transactions.
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, match invitations).
  • Detect cheating, fraud, and Terms of Service violations.
  • Improve the App through aggregated analytics and crash reporting.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Information Sharing

  • With other players: your display name, avatar, and game statistics are visible to players you play with or compete against.
  • Club members: if you join a club, members can see your username and club-related stats.
  • Service providers: trusted vendors who help us operate the Services under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of any person.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

4. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active plus up to 90 days after deletion for dispute resolution. Anonymised analytical data may be retained indefinitely.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit and access controls limiting employee access to personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to restrict or object to certain processing. Email privacy@vanikar.games to exercise these rights. You may also delete your account in the App via Settings → Account → Delete Account.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may link to third-party services with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

9. International Transfers

Our servers are located in the United States and the European Union. We implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

10. Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be announced in the App or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
